What’s Most Important: Training or Diet !

In short, there are three important factors for the success of bodybuilders, whether the goal is to gain mass, burn fat or improve performance. These are: diet (nutrition in general), training and rest. Although rest is of the utmost importance, we will only discuss training and diet in this article. What is the most important?

Before assessing the importance of both, you must understand one thing:

One does not work without the other!

Imagine that you decide to gain 15 kg of muscle mass this year. You will contact the best personal trainer in the world and he will prepare you the best possible training. The training is fully compatible with your goals and your biological individuality. He keeps planning for a year, but does not eat well, but eats, skips meals, etc.

The result is that even the best training in the world will not solve your problem!

On the other hand, imagine that you consult the best nutritionist in the world and that he will give you an incredible diet to gain mass. The diet is perfect and you know exactly how many calories, proteins, carbohydrates and fats you consume per day. He strictly follows his diet for a year, but leaves training in the background, loses more than going to the gym, and when he leaves, he does not try as he should.

The result is that even the best diet in the world will not solve your problem!

Then, we can say that one can not work without the other.

BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT: TRAINING OR DIET FOOD

As we saw earlier, both are very important and one does not work without the other, but we can say that the diet is more important and we will explain the reason.

In one week, you train 4 to 6 times and spend about 1 hour a day at the gym (if you train properly). Then we can conclude that you have to spend 4 to 6 hours a week and that your mission is very well done.

Now, with the diet, things are very different. If you want to gain muscle, you need to eat 5 to 8 times a day, you can not skip a meal and you have to follow your schedule 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You have to provide body and mind all the time to carry out a nutrition plan. It is much harder to diet than to train 40 minutes a day, because we eat every 3 hours!

In addition, the plan favors more deprivation than training. You can sleep an hour longer to train, but with traditional bodybuilding diets, you have to give up almost everything you like to eat and remind yourself of one of the best things in life: good food (tasty meal). .

Traditional bodybuilding diets always contain the same foods: chicken, sweet potatoes, broccoli, etc. And always eat the same thing is not nice. After a while, you can not even look at the plate when you eat!

This is precisely why many people leave the diet quickly. Because nothing is good to eat, going for a Burger King of life is a huge temptation, and many throw it in the trash for a few moments of pleasure.
